There have been posted an article about autoblogs on the official Adsense Blog:
http://adsense.blogs...unoriginal.html

Quote

We don’t allow sites with auto-generated or otherwise unoriginal content to participate in the AdSense program. This is to ensure that our users are benefiting from a unique online experience and that our advertisers are partnering with useful and relevant sites.

Seems they are working on new methods to make it harder to run autoblogs, not sure though.

Ouch, they are going to crack down even harder on autoblogs. That's allright, all my sites have original content anyhow, one of the advantages I guess.

I don't see why they even care what content is on the sites, as long as it is non-malicious or not pornographic, they make their money either way.

I don't really mind it. Adsense does have an obligation to protect advertisers too. Sounds all right to me.

Google is cracking down on everything now and days.. i wouldn't even recommend it to nobody anymore. The more money they get the more they get picky.

Yeah, well the concept of auto blogging really does nothing to add value anywhere.
Why should Google want to index content that's already available somewhere else.
It seems auto blogging is merely a ploy for those unwilling to put the effort into creating valuable content to try to make some money using Adsense.
By cracking down, Google protects the original content provider and their ability to get income from their content.

I completely agree with you on this one, but we can't ignore that fact that many people will take the shortcut (if there is any).
