Do you actually put money into advertising? Or do you just make sure your SEO gets you customers? What are your thoughts?

I put a lot of money into advertising - always have been, always will be.
This cover both promoting own sites but also affiliate products etc.

Even optimizing for SEO will cost you money, unless your one of those who think your time is worth nothing :P

The main objectives of advertising are:
* Increasing the usage of a certain product and hence acquiring more orders.
* Creating new customers and increasing brand recognition.
* To obtain feedback from customers regarding a certain product.
* To indicate introduction of new products or replacement of old ones.

Advertising is the most important tool in the marketing of products and services. Companies all over the world universally accepted this fact. The expenses on advertising are considered to be a profitable investment that reaps profits both in the long and short run.

One very SIMPLE rule. NO ADVERTISING MEANS NO BUSINESS. I guess everybody agrees on that.

Start advertising with low budget. See what the result is.

I think the word 'advertising' comes under a lot of different genres. You cannot just explain how to do it on a single thread, this is why we are looking to break down the process from the start to show new members entering the market where they should start, and how to gradually build up their advertising.

When advertising I feel it’s best to explore a variety of options. Some cost more than others, but I feel that I won’t know what works best for my particular company. I think that every business is different and as such needs a different advertising game-plan, so just test some out and figure out what you like best and what yields you the best results. Good luck ManiaC!

Business is doing well, thank you very much. In spite of the challenges that the printing industry faces (i.e., online competition), the business is quite successful in adapting to today's new media environment.
