How much traffic does rank #1 get?

Below you can see how much traffic rank #1 receive, compared to the rest.
This is average and depends on the your website title, description and how targeted that is compared to the keyword the user is using.

  • Google Rank #1: 56%
  • Google Rank #2: 13%
  • Google Rank #3: 10%
  • Google Rank #4: 4%
  • Google Rank #5: 5%
  • Google Rank #6: 3%
  • Google Rank #7: 0,3%
  • Google Rank #8: 3%
  • Google Rank #9: 1,45%
  • Google Rank #10: 2,55%

Wow what a difference. Wonder why 7 is so low compared to all the others. Either way just goes to show you, go for the gold! lol.

Haha, quite surprising that rank #1 receive that big a portion of the clicks.

Nothing too surprising here, I always thought that #1 should get even more than that. Your best bet is to always get ranked #1.

I have one site that is in the top 10 and one that is not even close. It's amazing the difference between traffic  :lol:

Nice I just checked my Google ranking for my keyword, Free Avatars, and I don't even show up in the first ten pages. Got a long road ahead lol.

Yea you will get there. Most of the sites that rank #1 have been going at it for over 3-4 months anyways.

It can take years to rank for some keywords, and require massive amount of backlink building.

Yea with the broader keywords I imagine it would. How long did it take you to get your first #1 ranking?

It depends on the keyword and how much competition it has.
Some only require like 2-3 backlinks and your rank #1 for that keyword, others ... never
