Would you use craigslist to sell some of your offline items? Is it common practice to do this? Just wondering, I'm not going to start doing it.  ;)

Think ebay is better for that.

Ah I should have clarified what I meant. I meant if it was common practice to sell such things as SEO, Web Design, etc on Craigslist?

Craig-list is free and you can sell things faster. Sometimes Ebay users bid on stuff and don't really have the money so you'll waste your time on it.

Craigslist is a great place to sell your online services, and to also promote your affiliate links.

As stated above by 1youcantoo, you will need to list in the small biz ads section to do the most good.

After you have listed your ad, then submit the url to as many search engines and social bookmarking sites as possible.
To your success,

Yes, pick an area that is over populated.

Yes you can do this, I've never done it so I can't tell you how successful you'd be. Think about where people look for SEO services and try them instead. But many online services are sold on Craigslist so I'm sure it can be done. You can also sell services on eBay, but people often look online for these services and not offline.
